Privacy policy

Ravina House is a privately owned furnished home in Wasaga Beach, Ontario. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and your choices. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

What we collect

When you send an inquiry: your name, email, phone (optional), stay dates, number of guests, pets, vehicles, who is paying, any message you write, and the page or campaign you came from. We do not ask for ID numbers or payment details on this website.

Why we use it

Only to answer your inquiry, prepare a quote and, if you book, manage your stay. If you tick the box to hear about open dates, we may also email you about availability. You can unsubscribe from those emails at any time.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information. We use service providers to run this website and deliver your inquiry to us (website hosting, email delivery and, if you book, our booking and payment systems). Some of these providers store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law. Booking platforms such as Airbnb have their own privacy policies.

Analytics

We measure page visits with cookie-free analytics that do not identify you personally.

How long we keep it

Inquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted within 24 months. Records of stays are kept as long as tax and legal rules require.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent to marketing emails. Write to stay@ravina.ca. We answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
